I usually don’t theorise about overwatch but I just thought about something.
The announcement of Moira and the fact that Reyes didn’t hate on Morrison and that they were war buddies and that Morrison even defended his decisions. It made me think that reyes’ hate for Morrison isn’t correct.
It made me think that maybe the downfall of overwatch was all apart of Moira’s plan. We know that she tested on Reyes as it was shown in her origin story. So maybe the tests caused Reyes to become deranged which caused his friendship with Morrison to break apart and thus the downfall of overwatch which was all apart of Moira’s plan for revenge. As overwatch “failed” to see what her research was about.
So basically, it was Moira who brought down overwatch from the inside by manipulating and using Reyes as her test subject.
Anyway, that’s it. It’s most likely not true and just something I thought would be fun to share.
