Even if you could present empirical evidence that this was true, what's the point of bringing it up? All it does is generalize people.

Correlation does not equal causation. So even if you could prove this to be true on an objective scale, it wouldn't be anything but a coincidence, and now you've just pigeon-holed 50% of the population for no constructive reason.
