I think I saw someone disconnect during a match in front of me for the first time. They were literally backed in a corner using their tenta brella for cover and I was trying to roll over them and they just poofed. Could have been a faulty connection, but the context seems seems more for a forced disconnect. A moment or two more and I would have gotten them. Too bad for their side.

yea, I've seen others hide in the corners on my team and I would sit there and ink them

Yah, sounds like they probably didn't want to be splatted and/or lose. But could have been a disco too, you never know.
