I finally got my own Switch yesterday alongside Sonic Forces and eventually some Eshop credit to buy Mania. Now I'm trying to think of what else I should get for the system. MK8 Deluxe is something I've already considered but are there any third party titles I should buy for the Switch?

Butcher is a great 2d platformer. La noire plays really well on switch. Mario rabbids kingdom battle is a gem. It's not my usual type of game, but it's fantastic! Thimbleweed park is a brilliant point and click mystery.
Fast RMX is a fun racer.
Snake pass is a really novel platformer, with very interesting mechanics.
Tbh, there's so many great games in the Switch library, it's difficult to say what is must buy. Most of them are! Lol

Try to get a refund and buy Stardew Valley if you're into micro managing stuff and RPG like gameplay.
Thumper is a good time killer..but you can hold off on it for now.
Rocket League will give ya fun.
