Helping a friend build a pc for playing ow and potential streaming/content creation. What do you guys think? I havent done this stuff in a while.

I know some of yall might suggest 16 gigs but im tryna save him as much money as possible plus we are canadian so slight mark ups

Use two 4gbs for your ram. Using only 1 stick of ram will slow your speeds

To save price you could just go with a 120gb ssd. I have my os and most of my applications like geforce on mine.

tbh if you want a streamer/gaming pc get the ryzen 7 it has more cores

....how about just wait 5-7 days for black friday/cyber Monday? You will save a lot of money then and might be able to get better parts or that extra ram with the savings

i'd drop to a cheaper CPU and use that cash for another 8gb.

get a Noctua cooler and maybe get an i5 and get 16gb of ram you'll need it lol

I would go with the Ryzen processor. Saves money, uses less electricity, almost just as fast as Intel, for half as much money. Ryzen processors are taking the PC world by storm

go for the 1070ti, its $40 more and at least 40% more powerful
