It's just rng, you have a 2% chance for a mutation regardless of bloodline and level

Yup. Random chance (about 2%) when breeding dinos. Most people will say that in-breeding helps the chances, but this is purely fiction. In the video I will like; The person uses in-breeding, but only *after* he has bred wild dinos (spawned in for the purposes of the video) down into a group of stronger dinos. You can get mutations off your first gen from breeding two wild dinos (it has happened multiple times for me). Just breed/hatch more, and be more selective when claiming for imprint.
