Hey guys, was just wondering what others thought of my build, havent had many 2nd opinions is all.

Ryzen 7 1700 @3.8ghz
GTX 960 2gb (only thing left to upgrade, blower style)
16gb Corsair Vengeance lpx ddr4 3000 @2800 currently
Msi x370 gaming pro carbon mobo
Samsung 960 evo m.2 boot drive
2tb crappy old seagate mech drive
EVGA Supernova G2 650w gold psu
H100i v2 aio
Corsair crystal series 460x rgb case

Should be able to hit 3000mhz with the newest bios.

I have a 900 series as well, waiting for Volta now.

No matter what I try I can't seem to hit 3k unfortunately lol, no idea why... On the latest bios too ><. Also im thinking of waiting for Volta too but god knows when that'll be out with the current market lol

I'm hoping that we'll hear something around March-April.

You're not really going to see a difference from 2800mhz to 3000mhz anyways, but if you can't get in to windows with 3000mhz, you might just need a higher vboot voltage if you have that setting in your bios.

Nope doesn't seem to have that setting, rip ><. Hopefully later bios' will be more compatible with hynix dies (found out I have v 5.3 ram meaning hynix, samsung b-dies are a lot more compatible)

Yeah, agesa 1.0.0.7 should help quite a bit, but I haven't heard much about when we're supposed to get it.
