You wanna go w AMD or Intel for your CPU? If you are mainly looking to game i would recommend the i5 7500

I think I would get an i3 8350k and that way you have a little more future upgrading all the way to the 8700k. The i3-8350k is pretty much the gaming cpu that the i5 7600k was.

And here is a per-built that IMO is actually not a total ripoff and $70 over your budget and I've seen it go on and off sell to close to your budget.
