Help please I was in a player dedicated server... played for N hour or so then logged out the server and logged straight back in and I must make a new survivor?? Where is my other guy haha surely I don't have to stay logged in 247?

100% I even started a new guy logged out and back in again and same thing no previous survivor

There's nothing in missing like saving him or anything? I just got him inside my hut then logged out lol
