I think its some odd number more fps with the 6gb vr ram....I have 3gb version and its more than start off...

The 6GB has more cores so the GPU is faster and it has double the memory. Get the 6GB version if you can in my opinion.

It's not just a difference, in vram. The 6gb also has more cuda

In most things they will perform nearly identical but the 1060 6gb means you won’t need to upgrade as soon. 3 gb of vram is becoming not enough and will start to limit the performance you will get

Not a lot of difference really. I use a 1060 3gb and runs everything i have tries just fine.

6gb has more cuda cores basically they are 2 different cards

1152 vs 1280 cuda cores. Very small difference. Actual real world fps at 1080p is miniscule.

I have both and the 3gb averages 8fps less then the 6gb. Unless you play games that require more vram there isn't much difference.
