Yes I noticed with the NES Mini last year. Playing Super Mario 3 on it is a bit different than playing on my original, which I am very accustomed to. It was a slight difference, but enough to be mildly annoying. So I just use the Mini for games I didn't have, and if I wanna play Mario I'll stick to the old box and cartridge
