Total is all the Dino's preset to eventually show up in the map(as to why we sometimes have to wipe maps when there aren't many left) active are the ones that you got close enough too to cause them to render into the game, stasised are the ones that have been rendered in but no ones close enough to see them at that moment so they disappear but are rendered back when they detect player activity, and hibernated are the ones that haven't been stasised or rendered in at all and are just waiting. They do this to help frame rate by only having to run frames for areas that have player activity only
