Can a dying hard drive cause low download speeds on steam or anything for that matter. I have an issue I can’t resolve with my pc

It can cause lower write speeds which would bottleneck your download speed

Best way to test a dying hhd. My boot times are still really quick most apps are loading like normal. I haven’t found any other symptoms

I swapped cases and it started happening after that. Wondering if I fucked something up.
