I was running it for a bit while waiting for my replacement 8700k and i was running sli 1080tis on it with no issues, it is a really nice processor and if you can get one id recommend it

this looks like a very good cpu for 1440p gaming paired with a 1070 or 480 or 1060 for 1080p. i'm dying to upgrade my son's i5.4440 3.2ghz but he said he doesnt need it, he has rx480.
