Any thoughts on how the crossplay with windows will effect PC servers with mods? On PC, you don't need a client side mod, right? It just downloads the server files when you load in. Or is that not how it works and it's more like oldschool minecraft before bukkit when you had to do everything manually. If it does download server files directly, then does that mean console players could potentially play with mods?

It will only be windows 10 that is comparable with xbox not the steam version, I'm guessing windows 10 can't use mods

No mods possible as it will be going through W10 not steam.

Even if someone hacks it so they can install mods on W10 version the console will need the mods installed to be able to utilize them.
