amd ryzen tr 1950x for $892... and... intel core i9 7980xe for $1942, the core i9 7980xe is 12% faster than the amd ryzen 1950x, which processor do you think is better considering price to performance ratio?? No fan boyism comments please.

The 7980XE can also overclock alot. 4.4-4.6 GHz are easily possible. It beats threadripper by alot more than 12% especially in single threaded performance (like gaming).

You can argue that 12% faster is 12% more work done. More work done is more money earned. More money means more roi long term (eventually).

Now if you’re talking about gaming, just stop. Both are pointless.
