*alert newb question*!!

In a pve server. Im still a bit confused on how dinos can kill ur live stock. What i mean by this is people have told me that if there is a wild aggressive dino in ur base. All u have to do is log off and wait for it to despawn and ur stuff is safe.

Reason why was bc a titan in my base the other day and for some reason went haywire alot of my before i lured it away. Is this logging thing true?

If you are on PvE then there is something called Offline Raid Protection (ORP). Once you have been logged off for 15 minutes nothing can harm your structures or dinos. It was implemented to guard against kiting, but it doesn't really do that and just removes a lot of the challenge from the early game, sadly.
