got this janky win7 torrent from like 2010 I'm tryna move past and not get hung up on when I upgrade, idc about any current files on my HD

Reformatting PC? course it will.. depending on which HDD you will chuck it in.. if it's clean boot, everything will be erased. or best, back up your files.
