Why do people refuse to switch from hanzo or widow After not getting any picks, until the very last 30 seconds left, then blame the team for losing

Why do players blame widow and hanzo when they do get picks but still lose?

I had a widow in game who was like "yeah I'll switch if it doesn't work" and he never got picks but he landed body shots (I'm pretty sure he never let it charge to 100) and I would always hook and kill them off. We both finished gold elims but we still lost and he never switched.

Just happened last match. Literal words were "I switched at 99%" smh...
