Went ahead a bought Windows 10 and a Radeon 570 for the old 2600K build. Not bad for a 250 dollar investment since the PC was free. Works great for a multimedia/gaming PC for the living room.

I'm still gaming with mine at 4.6ghz and 2x8GB DDR3 Ripjaws X at 2133mhz. Fucking love how stubbornly well it still runs games.
