When things first kicked off with Nintendo's Direct this year, I personally wasn't bubbling with excitement. For my sins, Dragon Quest isn't a series that has really gripped me in the past, and feeling that that was the big announcement for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate took the wind out of my sails. Oh hoe naïve I was.
The last 10 minutes or so were an absolute belter, with Banjo & Kazooie being revealed for Smash being the obvious highlight given my age and N64 tendencies. Make sure you give that video up there a watch if you want a notably more in-depth and waffly explanation of the whole thing.
