I would at least try for a 1400 to get 4 core 8 thread at least. 1200 and 1300x are only 4/4, but will do ok, but the 4/8 will help a lot.

If you're adamant about sticking to AMD, I wouldn't settle for less than a Ryzen 5 1500X honestly. Double the cache of the Ryzen 5 1400 and 300MHz faster in clock speed as well. Seeing as how the difference between the two chips is only $30, it's pointless to go for the cheaper one...
