if you like the aesthetics and have a case that fits this, then go for it. Otherwise, Ryzen don't get that hot (due to limited OC capability), and you're good with a $30-$35 Hyper 212 o anything in that range. :)

I have this one from CoolerMaster and has worked flawlessly with my overclocked A10-7870K APU (4.2Ghz).

Folks I don't care much about aesthetics, but functionality and reliability. My main purpose is while it cools down the CPU, it'll help cool down the VRMs as well. The Hyper12 EVO is a great cooler, but it directs the air to the back of the case, not to the motherboard, thus VRMs.

I use a darkrock tf on my 7700k. It's a damn fine cooler.
