Started playing official yesterday and made all this progress and then a dinosaur came and tore apart my house and ruined everything. Stayed up till 3 in morning fixing it.

If you're solo, keep your base really small and only tame dinos that you can hide. Pvp players are jerks. They'll let you build up, but once you start putting up xplants or turrets they will come wipe you :/

If a dino destroyed your base you need to focus on lvling up. Make as much spark powder gun powder ect to lvl up. Go around killing things and dont focus on keeoing anything you have untill your a high enough lvl to build stone thrn build small and continue to lvl up until you can build with metal.

Me n the wife had same we were in the mountains taming scorpions when a notification came up one of our dinos died. We headed over and 2 large brontos 100+ lvl killed practically every thing
