I think you can the only problem is if it's like the other blizzard games you have to start over from scratch. I haven't bought Destiny 2 yet for the PC but I plan on doing that soon. I know what I play Diablo 3 or OverWatch I can switch to whatever server I want the only issue is my stats and characters don't transfer and my friends list doesn't either so you'd have to add new friends. It's just like when I hop on the PTR as well
