So I've got my
2x8gb 3000mhz 16gb ddr4 ram.
When I try to install on my mobo msi h170 gaming m3
Windows won't boot?

Had same problem yesterday. You will probably have to short the bios to clean from default to auto. Default will only except 2000/2400 auto will take the 3000
