Should I build a small form factor and preferably cheap rig for a household NAS, or build a more than likely cheaper Raspberry Pi to control the NAS?

Right now im thinking Raspberry Pi plus Icy Box 4 bay JBOD and just whack the highest capacity drives i can get into it

If it’s just for a nas then I would say raspberry pie
