Question.. why is it that when a game has a Vram meter for my gpu that when it's not even half way full it still has trouble running the game at 60fps?

Because its lacking the graphics processing grunt to fully utilize the vram available.

because the rest of your gpu isnt strong enuff or you have a cpu/ram bottleneck..specs and game ?

Hmmm, we'll I've got an i7 7700k, and 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram matched with a msi gtx 1070. Shouldn't be any bottleneck on the gpu. The only game I experience this with is AC origins and I've read it has horrible "optimization" but idk. Just trying to figured it out

So you're saying my card has more vram available than it can handle?

It has more than it really needs yes. I play all my games in 4k res using a titan xp 12gb GPU and never see vram usage near 8gb below 6gb mostly
