ok so i have a kraken x62 rev 2 cooling a 6700k. Idle temps are 24-35 degrees c but within the first 5-10 seconds of starting the intel stress test from the tuning utility the cpu gets to almost 100 degrees before I end the test. I really dont get it because the cooler and thermal paste are both installed properly, and I have no idea why it's like this. thanks

Sounds like air in the line if everything is installed correctly. Even a stock fan probably does better than 100C.

The fan header that the pump is on should be at full speed in the bios!
