Noob question.
Can you only see people in your fireteam?
With a large playerbase, i would of thought there would be multiple people running around on each planet at any time but half the times i go to do a public event, im the only one there with the occasional lone wolf appearing from the shadows.

Personally I think that u can only see people in ur fireteam. Imagine Nessus full of players, you could exp there

When I'm with a fireteam, randoms always join in on the public events

I had 8 people around me waiting on a pub event. Event starts im all alone.

Each area is like a room... There will be multiple ones at a time. It only allows so many in at a time and will open a new one... Almost like match making

The earlier you get there before an event the more likely someone will spawn in with you

Destiny one was the same way.. You could leave an area and come back in and the people would sometimes change

here is how to get into crowded area:
1. go to orbit
2. wait until your desired pub event counter under 1 or 2 minutes
3. go to nearest teleport with your pub event
4. voila people everywhere

if it doesn't work which mean nobody doing that pub event
