I personally like the new Mercy. The anti-carry is dead. No more relying on the overwhelming force of a team res. No more relying on the idea that a res can save the game or team fight. A kit based on maintaining a team fight or push by changing a 4v6 to a 5v6 or 6v6 by resing and ulting to reset the cooldown.
If you're complaining about being easily picked off while flying, consider positioning to improve survivability.
Just some of my ideas on the new Mercy. I've always hated the idea of relying on her to bring back the whole team and purposefully dying on point.
