I have a question
If I connect a monitor to my laptop through hdmi....and the monitor had an audio jack..will my speaker work if I connect it to that audio jack?

You can choose the audio output down by the clock

Right click on volume icon, then select Playback Devices. Set whatever speakers you want o use as default and click OK. Some programs may need to be restarted.
