Good morning all

I ran into an issue last night playing CS:GO. Game plays fine at highest settings, however after about 30 minutes of playtime my computer just restarts. No blue screen and it comes right back to windows. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Proc: AMD FX8320
Ram: 8gb single stick
Gpu: GTX 660Ti

Drivers? any oc? Temps? PSU not strong enough?

Corsair RM1000i PSU, Gpu Temps never go above 65c and no OC on cpu or gpu.

Cpu Temps stay at 32c.

Gotta be drivers or memory. Could be a corruption somewhere id check in cmd and reinstall nvidia drivers

Ahhh yeah I also had this problem with my PC but what mine did was as soon as I start Windows it reboots and makes a constant loop I unfortunate enough had to reinstall windows but check your RAM temp and CPU temp if everything seems fine I'll suggest but only when there is no other option but to reinstall windows btw have u tried any other games does it do the same and also try leaving ur PC just on its desktop and see what happens

Runs perfect outside of playing CS. Playing cities skylines and planet coaster just like normal for hours at a time. Haven't monitored ram Temps so I'll check that out today. Cpu Temps stay at 32c and below. And Gpu Temps never go above 65c.

I'd say ram issue, do you have another stick to try out?

Do that and see what happens if it still does the same I suggest taking ur PC into any close by computer repair or checkup shop

If not ram it could be the pc forcing a thermal shutdown caused by one of your components overheating
