It's been happening to a few players. Everything from that day will be lost when you go to bed. It's really sad.

it’s easy to avoid though, I found out that if I cook and some ingredients are in my fridge and leaves a gap in storage the game will crash, so instead I just take out the ingredients and place them in my bag, basically the game crashes because it reads your inventory and storages, if it detects a space in between items in storages it’ll crash the game to make sure it’s not one of the core items missing and prevent saving
