Does moving a hdd to a different sata and power connection matter?

not really. either windows will give it a new drive letter or you might have to change something manually, but it won't break anything really. at least not in my experiences.

Okay wanted to make sure before I move my drives. I want to put my 4tb where my 1tb is

Not really. But in laptops, especially when you are using an ssd, it does matters.

Yes it does! Make sure you're plugging the drive into a 6GB/s SATA port. Some boards have both 3GB/s and 6GB/s ports. Refer to your manual for better info.

Also. make sure you have your BIOS set to AHCI mode. It significantly improves the read/write performance of the drive.

Pretty sure all 6 ports my board has are 6gb

No. At least the power connection doesn't matter
