I strongly doubt it but even at $430usd it's a far better buy so it seems. Vega56 and is a great card and this is a smart move by nvidia to basically undercut it performance wise in the games where vega pulls away from the regular 1070.

it might mean volta is a fall release like maxwell instead of spring like pascal tho which isnt too nice

If 9-16fps better than a simple 1070, and better price than vega 56 iam sold.
But i don't think they cut it down to that price, but they should do it.
Because the same price will fail vs to vega56, vega56 can have bios up to almost 85% performance of a vega 64 and what have that 1070Ti?
